Halo Wars Trailer Screencaps

Forummer Drock from halowarscentral.com did a lot of work to take high-resolution screenshots of many scenes from the Halo Wars trailer. Drock packed the screenshots into a zip and put it up for download. You can even use those shots as wallpaper (if you don't have a widescreen monitor, just set the wallpaper position to "center" and the color to black).

Microsoft is offering up Halo Wars avatars for the price of 80 MS points on Xbox Live. One of the avatars seem to confirm the "squad" style play that some are expecting to come from the game.

Halowars.com forummer newguy2445 discovered some pretty cool easter eggs on Ensemble's Christmas Wallpaper. Hidden away as Christmas presents is an AoK box and an AoE box, pretty cool =].

A bit late on this, but still good news. ES_Thunder posted up an update on how the game and the team developing it is doing. Not only that, Thunder also shared a special christmas wallpaper to all the fans, and announced the opening of this very heaven:

Check out the latest addition to their network, Halo Wars Heaven. There's a new video documentary out by Bungie about the Brutes, which are by turns either the most or least favorite of the Covenant races.

Bungie just put out a small Weekly Update, featuring the answers to a couple interesting questions. Definitely something to check out.

Have you not clicked on that link yet? If not, here's a quick teaser. Halo 3 content for the Xbox 1.

Also, I'm moving back home this weekend for the Christmas holidays, and will probably be unavailable for the better part of said weekend. Take the inevitably huge amount of problems that will crop up in my absence to Elpea.
Halo Mafia and RPG

IND Master Chief is preparing to host Halo Wars Heaven's first game of Mafia, in this thread. As an avid mafia player, I am most certainly looking forward to it, and I hope the rest of you are. Check it out.

And Sir Billy has an RPG going. Check that out too.

We've installed the patch that added support for Xbox Live Gamertags - after you've updated your forum profiles via the My Account area, it'll appear in your user profile like this.

Empire of Darkness has started up a Halo Fan Fiction Contest, that's looking pretty good. Check it out.

And there's a new weekly update over at Bungie.net, which is just full of goodness about the trailer they just released.

It's finally here, Halo Wars Heaven is now online, to bring you all your Halo Wars Happiness. Be sure to check out the site, the forums, and the rest of the HG network if you're new, and stop by the forums to say hi and introduce yourself.

Though I believe a short introduction would be appropriate. I am watchwood, the resident Seraph and administrator of Halo Wars Heaven. Also staffing HWH are Elpea, Sith, Shadowflare, and Bendak. All of us are huge fans of the Halo series, and we look forward to a long and happy future for HWH.
